Join us as we welcome Dr. Larissa Assam, Family Medicine physician, author, philanthropist, and Founder of Rophe Beauty, a natural beauty and skincare brand based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Assam holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and French from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego, earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and a Masters of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Assam will lead a discussion focusing on heart health. She will discuss the importance of healthy eating, what that means, preventative measures related to healthy eating and exercise and how small changes can lead to living a healthier, more enjoyable life.CEU credit for social workers is pending.
