ABOUT GRASS ROOTS ORGANIZATION FOR THE WELL-BEING OF SENIORS (GROWS)

Grass Roots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors (GROWS), established in 1989, serves as a vital platform for networking, education, and advocacy among senior service professionals. As the premier organization dedicated to seniors in Montgomery County, GROWS brings together a passionate community of individuals committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Our volunteer board of directors and various committees diligently organize educational events, foster networking opportunities, and actively monitor legislation and impactful initiatives. GROWS prioritizes raising awareness and providing essential education on the unique needs of seniors, their families, and caregivers. Simultaneously, we offer crucial resources and unwavering support.

Through our initiatives, GROWS ensures that members stay informed about trends, relevant topics, and the latest data. By doing so, we continually enhance the quality of care and services provided to seniors, striving for excellence.

ADVOCACY


The Advocacy Committee represents GROWS on the Montgomery County Commission on Aging and on Commission's three working Committees: The Health and Wellness, Public Policy and Aging in Community. GROWS representatives communicate important initiatives and data concerning the senior population and the businesses that serve them. Learn more on our Advocacy page.
