Part 1: Yoga Designed for the Brain, November 20 Experience how yoga, in all its facets (breath, meditation and movement), can positively impact your brain health by creating calm, cultivating focus and attention, improving sleep and improving overall well-being. Part 2: The 4 Pillars of Prevention® December 18 Learn steps you can take to stay brain healthy and live with vitality and clarity, as developed by the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF). This session includes discussion, breathing, meditation and some movement. Part 3: How Living Your Yoga Can Change Your Brain, January 22 A lively and interactive community discussion exploring the synergies between the 8 Limbs of Yoga and the 4 Pillars of Prevention®. This session includes discussion and meditation. Part 4: Sweet Dreams, February 19 Learn tips to improve your sleep quality and be guided into a state of deep relaxation through a yoga nidra (“yoga sleep”) practice.
