June 4, 2008:  Educational Seminar

Please join us on Wednesday June 4 for our first ever Educational Seminar: "Getting the Healthcare You Want: Caregivers & Professionals Partnering for Quality of Care." Enjoy keynote speaker Dr. Neal Barnard, Jennifer Lubaczewski Fitzpatrick and Melissa Medalie as they present the following topics. "Your Healthcare Provider as a Partner" "Managing Expectations" and "Telling your Patient's Story". 3 CEU credits for social workers and nursing home administrators (pending) are available. The seminar will be held at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville, MD. Registration starts at 8am. The cost is $25, or $35 if you want the CEUs. 2008 Senior Service Network (SSN) Meetings:

SSN meetings are held the first Thursday of January, February, March, April, May, September, and October, from 8:15 - 10:30 AM, at the Holiday Park Multi-Service Senior Center, 3950 Ferrara Drive, Wheaton, MD, 20906. Come enjoy a delicious continental breakfast, network with colleagues and friends, meet new people, attend the educational presentation, and participate in our 50/50 raffle.
It's a way to learn more about important topics involving seniors and to expand your contacts with others in the field.

Join the fun and participate in our 50/50 raffle at every meeting! Donate a few dollars in support of GROWS, check your ticket stub at the drawing, and perhaps you'll walk away with a pot of money. One lucky winner will share the money 50/50 with GROWS!
